Dental offices and recruiters can search for and hire both Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants through GapZap Dental Staffing.  Eventually, Dentists will be added to the list of dental personnel available for hire.

Why can't I post my Job Offer?

Before you can post your first Job Offer, you need to add your practice information to your Personal Profile.  The Personal Profile link is at the top of the Dashboard when you first log in.  Scroll to the bottom of the Personal Profile page and click the link "Add New Practice".  Once this has been completed, you can post your job offers.

How much does does it cost to use GapZap.com?

GapZap.com is free for dental personnel (Job Seekers). 

For dental offices and recruiters (Employers) there are a couple of different pricing options to choose from to best suit what your needs are at that time:

1) $19.99 for one Temporary job posting.  If all you need is a Dental Hygienist or Dental Assistant for a day or a week and don't hire temporary personnel often, this is your best option.

2) $99.99 for one Temp-to-Hire job posting.  If you are looking to hire a full-time Dental Hygienist or Dental Assistant, this is the best option for you at a very reasonable price.  Conduct as many working interviews you need, in order to find the ideal candidate for your practice.

Peer Ratings

What are Peer Ratings?

The Peer Rating System is the single most important element of GapZap.com and the main reason why our service separates itself from the competition.  Peer Ratings allows the Dentist to rate each candidate they hire on overall attitude and performance as either Positive, Neutral or Negative, thereby giving other potential Employers a good idea of what type of candidate he or she may be.  It also allows the Hygienist or Assistant to rate the Dentist they work for as well.  This allows potential candidates to be able to make a more informed choice on which Dentist he or she chooses to work for on a given job.

Many times we rely on the Staffing Agency to do this for us and many times they come up short.  Peer Ratings on GapZap.com allows YOU to give direct feedback on a peer in your chosen industry.  Because of this, dentists are hopefully going above and beyond to provide a comfortable working environment and candidates are hopefully going above and beyond to do the best job possible.

When can I submit my Peer Rating?

Once the Job Offer has been filled and completed, it is the responsibility of the dentist to go back and rate the effectiveness of the candidate and for the candidate to rate the overall working environment of the dental practice.  It can be completed once a Temporary Job Offer is finished or a Temp-to-hire Job Offer has been closed.  This system is only as good as the feedback given so please make sure to submit your Peer Ratings.
